SAFEbuilt Colorado Helps Local Food Bank
The Weld County Food Bank is better because of the generosity of SAFEbuilt Colorado employees and their clients.  Just this past quarter, more than $8,500 worth of food for hungry families was made possible through SAFEbuilt Colorado’s donations and a dollar multiplier offer for matching gifts.

“We feel strongly about supporting the priorities of the communities we serve,” says Mike McCurdie, president, SAFEbuilt Colorado.

This community effort, and others—like participation in this year’s 2006 Komen Denver Race for the Cure and Habitat for Humanity—is part of the mission of the Caring In Action (CIA) Foundation.  The Foundation is organized by an employee committee.

“We feel that the gifts from the Foundation make an important statement about the integrity of the owner and employees of SAFEbuilt Colorado,” says Sharon Marquez, Foundation committee member.

SAFEbuilt Colorado is Colorado’s leading contract provider of building inspection and plan review services. Based in Windsor, Colorado, SAFEbuilt Colorado has 4 offices and more than 30 employees that help cities, towns and counties level out the highs and lows of building demand.

Municipalities currently being served include: Ault, Bennett, Centennial, Eagle, Eaton, Firestone, Gilcrest, Hudson, Kersey, Lyons, Mead, Nunn, Pierce, Platteville, Red Cliff, Severance, Silverthorne, Timnath, Vail, Wellington, and Windsor.
