Three scholarships were awarded to area youth including the Firestone Academic Performance Scholarship, Firestone Criminal Justice Scholarship, and the SAFEbuilt Colorado Academic Excellence Scholarship.
The $1,000 SAFEbuilt Colorado Academic Excellence Scholarship was awarded to Edward C. Wellman III. Edward will be attending the University of Northern Colorado and pursuing a degree in music education.
