SAFEbuilt service: Full-service building department through shared services
Client: 12 communities south of Atlanta, Georgia
Twelve communities south of Atlanta chose to privatize their building departments with SAFEbuilt without an intergovernmental agreement or the formation of a regional authority. SAFEbuilt holds direct contracts with each community, which allows them to maintain control of fee schedules, service-level agreements, and processes. In return, SAFEbuilt delivers building services that address each community’s unique needs.
