SAFEbuilt, Inc.—the parent company for SAFEbuilt Colorado (formerly Colorado Inspection Agency), SAFEbuilt Georgia, and SAFEbuilt Washington—is redefining the delivery of building department services.

For more than 15 years, we have provided full service building department programs, building code plan reviews, complete project support and building code inspections. We’ve earned an outstanding reputation because of our broad scope of expertise and our commitment to safe built communities.

	Every jurisdiction has a unique community culture and specific requirements or preferences for their building department. We pride ourselves in providing customized solutions for each unique situation. SAFEbuilt provides the full range of services required to move a building project from the pre-construction review phase all the way through issuing the certificate of occupancy. 	SAFEbuilt employs trained and certified individuals. Currently, our staff consists of building officials, plans examiners, building inspectors and permit technicians. Our employees have a broad background in construction, both from an inspection and building trade standpoint. Because our code interpretations and recommendations are founded in experience and knowledge, SAFEbuilt can answer questions on site, reducing project delays and ensuring a safe-built environment. 	SAFEbuilt employees are trained, tested and certified to handle all building code-related administrative, legal, technical and code enforcement matters. This ensures that all of our clients continuously receive the best and most up-to-date industry practices and code knowledge. In 2007, we supported over $1.2 billion in residential and commercial building valuation, 4,100 plan reviews and performed approximately 68,000 inspections. Our inspectors are certified through the International Code Council (ICC) and are required to keep their certifications current during their employment with SAFEbuilt. Back to Top
